Sunscreen E-Summit 2022: Replay

On May 15th, 2022, Michelle Wong at Lab Muffin and I launched the Sunscreen E-Summit. We were blown away by the support we received and turn out! Massive thank you to everyone who made this event possible! To Michelle for agreeing to collaborate with us, to our fabulous speakers who agreed to share their expertise, to @rubysresource - our tech and forum support for the day, Julia is located in Australia and stayed up ALL NIGHT to help us! To our event sponsors; our SPF 50 Sponsor Deciem, SPF 30 Sponsors Neutrogena and Croda, and SPF 15 Sponsors Eurofins and the PCPC. It’s because of you that we were able to make the Sunscreen E-Summit free for anyone. And to our attendees for registering, being so engaged all throughout, and making our event a success! Thank you!

A common critique for industry conferences is that they are either too expensive, geographically exclusive, close their eyes to misinformation, or all of the above. We put this event together to demonstrate how accessibility makes a difference. This was our attempt to democratize accurate information for the cosmetics industry.

The Sunscreen E-Summit is part of our greater e-conference series. So far we’ve hosted a sustainability conference in March. Next up, we’ll be tackling the topic of safety, coming your way in late September. If you’d like to get involved, reach out to us at info@theecowell.com. And for this conference, we are planning to make this a yearly event, and continued collaboration with Michelle. There was so much we wanted to cover but couldn’t with the single-day event, so for the next Sunscreen E-Summit, expect a multi-day event :).

And with that, here is the replay of the Sunscreen E-Summit! Interested in supporting our initiative? Please share!
