There's a lot of misinformation on the topic of sustainability in agriculture. I think the crux of the challenge - a lot of the people who are the most vocal in the media on the topic don't actually have expertise... In contrast, actual agricultural scientists and farmers often don't get the platform that they should. In our latest e-event, we attempted to clarify the topic with a panel discussion featuring Dr Rene Van Acker, dean of the University of Guelph, Ontario Agricultural College, and Dr Kevin Folta, horticultural researcher and professor at the University of Florida.
